Touches like the Flexlock lacing system mean you don't risk your laces getting caught on the other boot. And the new closed midsole channel underfoot keeps weight to a minimum, and makes sure you don’t take the trail with you.

My shoes arrived in a box (not a shoe box) and were not wrapped and just loosely falling around. I thought they were used but looked ok. This is my 11th pair if OC and I’m not happy in the way they were sent.
